Community Foundations – With over 650 community foundations throughout the US, these organizations provide donors with a highly personalized form of giving. Community Foundations allows donors to set up individual donor advised legacy accounts giving them the freedom and flexibility to donate as needed or desired. They can gift a variety of assets to the foundation for the immediate gift (tax benefit) however the money can be distributed at a later date.
